Tells the story of Norrbotten’s abundant diversity through seven different exhibitions: Birth, Land, Home, Border, Language, Power and Capital. The exhibitions will roam around the region, both spreading and gathering knowledge.
Birth is the first part of the Museum of Norrbotten’s story about our history.
Like space around us, the story consists of thousands of glittering stars, more than we can count. There is also space for black holes containing darkness we can only imagine.
In the Birth exhibition, the telescope is pointed towards different times and places in Norrbotten, towards people who were part of something new. What we think, do and create alters the past, the present and the future. The story is constantly being rewritten and begins once again.
